Story

South Liverpool Sea Cadets (TS Conway) is a successful charitable community organisation based in Liverpool, with 45 cadets between the ages of 10-18, who come from across the south of the city. We are run entirely by adult volunteers and we have to raise funds for everything we do.

We have been given an incredible opportunity to move from our current accommodation (Portakabin units) into a fine brick building with bags of potential. The building comes with a 25yr lease so will put us in a great place for the future. We will have to refurbish it however, it was an old Army shooting range, and we need to turn it into a modern, warm and welcoming space for our cadets.

We have already engaged surveyors and architects to draw up designs and get us costs. It's a big job and will likely take us a year or so to complete. The total cost is circa £200,000, but we have a hard working team of volunteers who are already seeking funding from across the region, including using the great services of JustGiving that comes with the help of Gift Aid (please remember to use this if you are donating)
