3 ladies jumping to help 3 dogs:
Thank you so much for visiting our page, we are insane and jumping from a plane to help raise essential funds to help 3 dogs that we have in foster @ Spaniel Aid.
Kobi: you may have read his story, he's only 8 moths old and has a heart issue called severe pulmonic stenosis which is caused by an abnormal development of the pulmonic valve resulting in restricted blood flow out of the heart. As a result he is a calm quiet boy not at all like the puppy he should be. He needs keyhole surgery to place a balloon catheter to open the valve. This boy has at best 3 years and could pass at any time unless we do this at a cost of £5000. He's all booked in
Henry: A stray collected by the dog warden and taken to the pound, no chip. He is a young dog no more than two with an obvious issue with his back legs. Straight to the vets for him to find both his kneecaps are totally out of place with no groove for them to sit in. He has been like this since birth and must be in extraordinary pain. He is the sweetest little dog. He is booked in for his surgery which is £5,000
There is another dog due in shortly and I will post full details here once we have all the information.
Does Spaniel Aid turn these dogs down? NEVER! we just get fundraising. Spaniel Aid is a non profit charity and all our team are volunteers. We are paying for our own jumps so no cost to Spaniel Aid and all money goes directly to the dogs.
To say we are nervous is an understatement, we have already turned to wine and cake! and we still have another month to go.
Please if you can spare a little cash it will go a long way to help these poor dogs that need us..
Thank you so so much we really cannot do this without your help.
