Patients in hospital this Christmas are set to benefit from a charity appeal launched by the Norfolk and Norwich Hospitals Charity which aims to give a gift to every inpatient in the Norfolk and Norwich University Hospital on Christmas Day.

The Send a Smile with Santa campaign is encouraging local people and businesses to donate gifts, with the aim of collecting more than 1000 presents for patients. While many people, young and old, will be lucky enough to celebrate at home with their families this year, some will be spending their Christmas Day in hospital.

If you are unable to drop off a gift at the local drop off points (please visit our website www.nnuh.org.uk to find them then you can donate here and we will then go and purchase a present for a patient.

The appeal starts on 18th October and all presents must be with the hospital by 8th December to enable Santa's elves to check and delivery the presents ready for the big day.
