Visit the charity's profileAt Summer Search, we envision a world in which young people, regardless of circumstances, can fulfill their potential and lead their families and communities to THRIVE.
We partner with public and charter high schools throughout the Bronx, Brooklyn, Queens and Manhattan and begin working with students during their sophomore year. Summer Search offers seven to nine years of holistic support - providing mentoring, summer experiential opportunities, post-secondary advising and career and financial wellbeing resources.
Our program inspires and empowers youth while creating greater equity across New York City.
While we will be hosting an in-person Soirée this year, we know that there are varied levels of comfort with indoor events and recognize that this might not be an option for everyone. COVID-19 has and will continue to have a profound effect on the students and families that we serve. Your contribution will help ensure Summer Search's work continues without interruption throughout the new 2021 - 2022 academic year and beyond.
