Organised by Friends & Volunteers of Sheffield Music HubWhat a great opportunity for eligible children to join a Music Group and for it to be free. There are 25 groups including groups with no previous musical experience required. Children need music in their lives and making music is priceless.

Visit the charity's profileThe Sheffield Music Hub believe that every child, regardless of race; gender; where they live; their levels of musical talent; parental income; whether they have special educational needs or disabilities; and whether they are looked-after children; deserve the very best music education. Therefore, they have announced in September that FREE music group membership (Y3 - Y13) is now available for all Sheffield children where their families are in receipt of one of the following:
- Free school meal eligibility
- Universal Credit
- If not in receipt of Universal Credit, one of the following:
o Income support
o Income based Job Seekers Allowance
o Working tax credit, (where annual income is below £16,190)
They have 25 groups to choose from and cover all stages of learning from beginner to advanced players and singers. They also have a number of groups where absolutely no experience is required - just enthusiasm and a desire to learn!.
This is fantastic opportunity for children of Sheffield, but it comes at a cost, the Hub has estimated about £8,000 this year. Your donation will secure as many young people can take this opportunity and change their lives forever.
