Story
On Thursday16th June we are taking part in Speedee-Boarding, the world's largest and greatest paddle boarding relay-racing tournament, being held at Hove Lagoon, Brighton. We are excited to have 2 teams representing the Sussex Cancer Fund.
We are excited to have 2 teams representing the Sussex Cancer Fund, the first is made up of the amazing staff from FRP Advisory. Phil Harris one of our hardworking Business Ambassadors, has formed a team together with colleagues Beth Warner, Russell Deen, and Jack Norton.
Our second team is the SCF Team, comprising of Dr Simon Page, Clinical Oncology Registrar, Neil Johns, Advanced Practice Radiographer, and two Sussex Cancer Fund supporters, Andreas Pfeiffer and Chris Coane. The entry fee for the tournament for the SCF has been kindly donated by Neil Laughton one of the event organisers.
For over 40 years the Sussex Cancer Fund has been helping the people of Sussex by providing specialist equipment, additional patient services, refurbishments, and building work as well as funding cancer research projects. We work hand in hand with the NHS to help provide the best possible cancer care for our patients and it is likely that anyone that has received treatment in Sussex will have benefitted from something the Sussex Cancer Fund has provided.
