Organised by UnityMKOur very own amazing Ruth, lovingly nicknamed 'Ruthless Ruth' by guests, who kindly is our volunteer receptionist/bouncer, has offered to let Haircuts 4 Homeless chop her fab long hair off to raise vital life-saving funds for Winter Night Shelter MK!
Our very own Ruth is willing to chop off her hair, to raise vital funds to help homeless and vulnerable people living in Milton Keynes.
Ruth's story is compelling:
"Since August 2019 I have had a huge life change. The Winter Night Shelter Milton Keynes has rescued me three times from then until now. I now have a voluntary role supporting the Welfare team at the WNSMK. They are a small group who have made me feel completely part of the team. They also work their socks off, all the time for anyone who steps into the building needing help. These people use their own money and resources when funds become scarce.
A radical hair cut is nothing compared to this work the Welfare team at the WNSMK do."
