Story

Every year there are hundreds of children in the Calderdale area that do not receive any gifts at Christmas and many families that will feel less than festive due to their circumstances.Whilst we cannot address the needs of all of them we can try and bring some happiness at this time of year.

Our 'Elves' will be hard at work filling shoeboxes with donated toys, games and other goodies that can then be distributed through a network of charities in the area who are aware of those most in need. Working in conjunction with local schools and businesses we aim to provide over 3000 boxes and all donations we receive will be used to purchase extra items. All other costs will be met by Rotary Club of Halifax members ensuring that all monies received go towards the appeal
