Welcome to Save the Rhino International's page for the 2023 London Marathon fundraising campaign! This is the place to meet 2023's fantastic crash of Rhino Runners, track their progress, and to also see current total fundraising totals raised by the entire wonderful collective group.

On Sunday 23 April 2023, our brilliant crash of Rhino Runners will participate in an incredible 26.2 mile run, raising vital funds to protect endangered rhinos in Africa and Asia. It is Save the Rhino International's mission to ensure that all five species of rhino can thrive in the wild - both now and in the future. We work with extraordinary people around the world to make this vision a reality. By participating in this fantastic event, our fundraisers are therefore helping to raise awareness for, and funds for the conservation of, these iconic animals.

Rhinos face many great threats to their survival in the wild, including poaching for their horns, habitat loss, and climate change. Three of the five rhino species are at extremely high risk of extinction in the wild because of these threats. By participating in the London Marathon 2023, our runners are helping to:

- Provide kit, support and regular training for dedicated anti-poaching and rhino monitoring teams

- Engage people in and around rhino habitats, empowering them to be the next generation of wildlife protectors.

- Disrupt criminal networks working to traffic and sell illegal rhino horn around the world

You can either donate to individual runners to or the entire team. All donations will go directly to Save the Rhino International, helping us lead the charge to ensure all five rhino species thrive!
