Story

As-Salamu Alaykum my name is Choudhry Wasim Bashir and I am raising £5,000 in the memory of my beloved Aunty Raj Begum who sadly passed away in Birmingham on 28th January 2021 due to COVID-19.

Losing a loved one is difficult for any family and even more so under these awful circumstances. I would like to raise money in her name towards building a mosque (Sadaqa Jariya).

Sadaqa Jariya is an important concept within Islam. The Prophet (peace be upon him) said: When a person dies, all their deeds end except three: a continuing charity, beneficial knowledge and a child who prays for them,(Hadith, Muslim).

Whoever builds a mosque seeking by it the pleasure of Allah, Allah will build for him a similar place in Jannah (Bukhari).

Your donations will help with hers and yours Akhirah In Sha Allah.

May Allah grant her the highest place in Jannat-ul-firdous & give the family Sabar. Ameen.

May Allah SWT accept your donations and duas Jazak Allah Khair.
