Your donation will support Robynn, Janet, Theresa and their colleagues, to stop them reaching breaking point.
The last year has been emotional. The pressure is so much that I dont know how to put words to it. But it's not the end for us. I look at these kids and I give them care with my whole heart. This is our calling, this is what we have to do. We can go a long way to help these children. - Janet, Senior Palliative Care Nurse
Any size of donation you can give for Children's Hospice Week will support our team as they continue to serve seriously ill children across the pandemic.
£5 could provide messy play supplies Robynn can use to help seriously ill children develop during lockdown.
£10 could cover the cost of PPE to protect Theresa through her next shift caring for a child in the family home.
£20 could provide an appropriate toy or game for Janet to play with a child staying in residential, helping them to develop and have fun.
£50 could cover the cost of a memory box that Janet can help a family create in our end-of-life suite.
£100 could cover transportation for Robynn to her next 20 Hospice at Home family sessions.
£500 could fund Janet supporting a child in two music and movement therapy sessions from specialists via Zoom.
£1000 could cover Theresa being able to deliver a month of Hospice at Home care to a family with no-one else to turn to.
Some families really want us to be there, in their home, three times a week. But because of funding we cant afford that. I wish we can get more help, so that we can be more helpful to people. Thats my real concern, because we can see that they really need us. - Theresa, Play & Care Worker
Your donation will keep Janet, Theresa and Robynn going, so that families who are isolated and alone get the vital help that they need. Thank you.
