The Windrush Generation have made an outstanding contribution to the UK and we all are indebted to their service in the country's hour of need. Since the public revelation of the Windrush Scandal in April 2018 more still needs to be done to ensure justice for the Windrush Generation. Many were wrongly classified as illegal when they had the moral and legal right to be in the country. Our charity has:

1. Supported and helped people get paperwork to ensure their lawful status

2. We have successfully helped people receive multiple thousands of pounds in compensation.

This has restored some hope and dignity to those wrongfully treated with your help we can continue and broaden this work to reach more people.

This year is of special significance as it marks the 75th Anniversary of the HMT Windrush ship bringing a major wave of Caribbean migrants to the UK. We also want to shine a bright light on the contribution of the Windrush Generation by having a number of activities across the year to bring that knowledge into the mainstream and celebrate the magnificent contribution. Your donation to this cause will help work with others to deliver a fitting commemoration for the Windrush Generation. This is a story that must be told.
