Asalamu alaykum!

Works have begun on Phase 2 of our New Masjid Project. We need to raise £100,000 urgently to start off the project and help us move downstairs for Teraweeh.

Our hope is that we can raise enough money to pay for foundational works, extension including extension roof, brickwork, doors and all ground floor windows to allow us to use the ground floor during Ramadan. It will be a basic shell of a Masjid but allows us to increase our capacity in the beloved and virtuous month of Ramadan.

This will be the first step in our Phase 2 Development. Longer term, we need to raise at least £500,000 to complete all of the Phase 2 Development and officially move into the Ground Floor.

Once Phase 2 is complete, we'll have an iconic Masjid that future generations will be proud of. The heritage of the existing industrial building will be enhanced by retaining the roof lightwells, adding high ceilings, gardens, sports and bike facilities, and more parking spaces. There will be multiple entrances including a large grand entrance

Our Ground Floor will contain a large prayer hall, a multi-purpose hall with sliding doors for 4 classrooms, a kitchen, a tuck shop, modern wudhu/toilet areas and offices. Our upper floors will then be multi-use for the wider community, functions and girls/sisters' activities
