Hello! The Dick Vet Running Club is proud to host the 5k charity run: Paws for a Run. This charity run will donate all proceeds to the Royal (Dick) School of Veterinary Studies charitable organisation All4Paws. All4Paws is a free, student-run clinic that offers veterinary care to the pets of people who are homeless or vulnerably housed.

This run will take place at 10:00am on Sunday 5th May 2019 at the Easter Bush Campus. This run will provide you with a beautiful tour of the local landscape through the Bush Estates. This is the perfect opportunity to come out and see what beauty lies in your local community, all while maintaining a happy, healthy hobby. Whether it is your first time, or youre a running regular. Walkers and runners alike are welcome! Come join your friends and family for a morning adventure.

All4Paws is an entirely student run charity which aims to provide basic veterinary care and advice to the homeless and vulnerably housed in Edinburgh.

We have grown over the years from just running a monthly clinic to now offering weekly walk-in sessions every Monday as well as monthly and twice-monthly clinics at different locations around the city. We have the privilege of getting to know our clients and their wonderful animals on a personal level and it is hugely rewarding to see the difference regular veterinary check-ups and support can make. As well as veterinary care we also give out food and treats, coats, beds, leads and toys!

We are so grateful that the Royal Dick Schools very own running club have decided to raise money with a 5K run and can assure you every pound donated will be much appreciated by the homeless pets of Edinburgh and their owners!
