Story

Pat Burgess sadly passed away on the 4th November 2020, peacefully at home with her family by her side. For those of us who knew Pat and were privileged to call her our friend, her passing is a great loss to us and to Wilton RDA, which she loved with a passion. Pat was inspiring with her enthusiasm, energy, sayings, strength and kindness. She always said that she ran the Pembroke Centre on Love, Joy and Enthusiasm. She was a powerhouse of a person who could match the right person with the right horse and get the right result. We can all recall something Pat said that struck a chord with us and helped to shape our world. She was a mentor and a guide. She understood and saw the best in people. A positivity would find a way and amazingly most things found a way for Pat. She recognised emotion in people are brought it out in or who she met. Her journey touch so many of our lives and we found the spirit with her.

Her positive enthusiasm and love for life were highly infectious.

Thank you Pat for bringing out the best in everyone, practicing the healing power of love and kindness and creating a place to cherish.

My everlasting memory of Pat will be the abundance of love that oozed from her.

Pat was the heart and soul of the RDA Wilton family.
