Story
Parrett and Axe School is a thriving rural Dorset village primary school with approximately 140 children.
as with all rural schools, budgets are tight and as a result investment in IT equipment is challenging and currently 5 classes, 140 children, share 16 ipads.
With the current restrictions for COVID and class bubbles the sharing of such equipment is limited between classes.
They are used to support all areas of childrens learning but are particularly needed to help with their reading and literacy at a time when volunteers are not allowed into school that have previously helped with reading.
We are therefore desperately in need of funding to purchase additional ipads for each class and appreciate any support that can be given.
