Story
PTES has been helping endangered wildlife since 1977. You can help too by raising funds, which we'll use to protect species that are endangered in the UK and overseas.
The PTES Challenge is a challenge for anyone - no matter what age or ability, you can take part. You can do it alone, or with others, and choose your own activity or goal. Here are some ideas to get you started.
Cycling - it could be a long-distance ride, or a nocturnal bike ride on an exercise bike to help hibernating animals.
We released our 1000th dormouse in June 2021. Can you do 1,000 squats, 1,000 press ups or maybe 1,000 minutes on the treadmill in a week?
Bit of a gamer? Enjoy your favourite pastime and help wildlife at the same time. Set yourself, or a family member, a challenge on your favourite game such as reaching a certain level or goal.
Garden fundraising! Run laps of your garden or have a veg growing competition.
Virtual long-distance race - pick a long-distance goal like a half marathon, marathon or even the 1,083 miles from John o Groats to Lands End and complete the trip in parts, racking up miles on your daily walks. You dont have to do it alone get your friends to join you and create a virtual team. The limit is up to you!
Maybe cold-water swimming or hill walking is more your thing. Be as wild as you like (within reason)
Once youve decided on your event, set up a fundraiser by clicking on the orange Start Fundraising button on the right hand side. Then share your event with friends so they can support you, and wildlife, with a donation. Thank you, every donation, big and small will help protect endangered species. Good luck!
