Story
Help PDSW to spread more joy to more people and start their love affair with dance, today! In this time of worry and loneliness, we want to reach out to more people and share the joy that dance can bring, wherever you live.
Dance is one of the most accessible art forms, but least publically funded. We are raising £25K to bring more dance to more people and one step at a time, make the world just that little bit happier.
With this money we will be able to create COVID safe community dance events for all ages, continue to offer socially distanced dance classes in our studios and online and bring children to our Ocean Theatre, who may have never experienced a live performance before.
This year marks a decade of dance in our seafront building. During these TEN years over HALF A MILLION people's lives have been transformed by dancing with us.
Scientifically proven to increase physical and mental well-being, dance offers something for everyone. Our dance programmes represent the diversity of the art form and we pride ourselves in being accessible to anyone.
From the community events we create, to classes we host, and professional live performances we support, PDSW brings dance to people everywhere and anywhere adding fun and joy to everyone's lives.
