Story
We need your help to keep our team on the road
Every year, our team travels thousands of miles across the country to run donation sessions and collect lifesaving blood for dogs. We've had our current car for many years, and it is starting to fail us. Having a reliable vehicle is crucial to what we do. We need to know our team can get to the donation venue to run the session and bring all the lifesaving blood back to the blood bank afterwards.
As a small charity and like many other businesses, we are facing significant challenges as we work to keep running during the coronavirus outbreak. Adding a large bill for a replacement vehicle on top of this is daunting. So, we're asking for your help to raise £18,000 to cover the cost of us buying a second-hand van as our new team vehicle.
We know it's a big ask and £18,000 is a lot of money. But we believe that if we pull together, we can raise enough to cover the cost of this new vehicle and keep our team on the road.
Any donation or fundraising effort, big or small, will make a difference.
Every donation of blood we collect can help to save the lives of up to four other dogs. With your help, we can concentrate on continuing to collect this lifesaving blood, safe in the knowledge that our team have a reliable vehicle to get them to and from donation sessions.
About Pet Blood Bank UK
If you've only just found out about us hello! We're a UK based charity that helps to save the lives of pets across the country by running a blood bank service. We believe every dog should have access to blood when they need it and our team works day and night to achieve this. This means we travel across the country each day to run donation sessions at different venues. The blood collected is then processed, stored and sent out to vets when they need it.
