Story
2020 has been a challenging year worldwide, and this has certainly been the case for OAB and for our clients. Vision impairment can be an isolating disability and can often leave people feeling lonely and needing to interact with others.
During the COVUD-19 pandemic we have been working hard to contact all of our clients across the county and offer them regular befriending calls. To do this we have recruited a team of wonderful volunteers who dedicate some of their spare time and effort to support clients with a regular chat.
This Christmas, we want to continue these regular calls and make sure out clients feel supported and welcomed throughout the festive period. To achieve this we need your support!
Making a donation this Christmas will help our staff to work with volunteers to make sure that our befriending calls continue throughout the winter months. OAB is an important charity to thousands of blind and visually impaired people across Oxfordshire and the support we offer make a big difference to their lives.
