The pandemic has had a very significant and negative impact on unpaid carers across the UK. For many carers it has meant providing more care than ever before and it has become harder to pay for essential items which support people in their caring role. Unpaid carers have told Carers Trust that they have been catapulted into a 24/7 caring role.

On Friday 1st October, Northacre staff will be taking part in a bike ride from London to Brighton to raise vital funds for unpaid carers across the UK.

Our aim is to raise £2000 for Carers Trust, to help them to continue their brilliant work in offering vital support and services to carers across the country at this difficult time.

Anyone can be a carer and 3 in 5 of us at one point in our lives will be caring for a family member or friend.
