Story
I have been running for a few years on and off, but got back into it around October time last year. I really found my passion in the January lockdown and thats when I started to challenge myself and decided to run a marathon distance. Since then, I have undertaken 4 marathon distances by myself. Usually, I run about 3 times a week, but for this challenge I will need to be committed to a training plan which will involve running 5 days a week whatever the weather!
With the Yorkshire Challenge, it's not just the day of the event that people are sponsoring, its also the commitment to the training. I will be out running by 6am most mornings!
Working for The Brick, I get to see first-hand the amazing changes we make to peoples lives. Over the last 12 months, there has been an unprecedented need for the charity's services, due to the increase in the number of families and individuals facing poverty or financial uncertainty. I wanted to use my energy to focus on helping to relieve poverty, inequality and homelessness.
Please support my challenge, so together we can continue #RebuildingLives and ensure everyone has a brighter and better future.
