Story
During times of crisis, the community turns to the Mark Stensager Human Services Fund to provide emergency financial help. A group of nearly 25 volunteers serves across the Guthrie network to review grant applications for emergency needs. The Mark Stensager Human Services Fund helps individuals in times of medical crisis, family loss, abuse, and natural disaster with financial support for needs such as food, clothing, lodging, medications, medical equipment, and transportation.
From the heart of an emergency grant recipient:
I am literally sitting here crying. Guthrie and your program are absolutely amazing. I cannot say thank you enough. This has relieved so much worry off my shoulders while I juggle finances, the kids by myself, worry about follow-up appointments and my spouses healing. It is just one less huge burden to know I now have finances freed up for groceries, other bills, and fuel. Thank you!
Help us raise up our community in times of emergency need with a gift to The Mark Stensager Human Services Fun today.
