Story

Walk for the millions of women and children, like Tiyamike ,14 years old. She lives in a remote village in Malawi. She has to walk to collect water every morning, which means she is often late for school. Tiyamike walks around 4km a day for water.

The distance to the water source is very long. I wish we could have clean water in our community where I no longer have to wake very early simply to collect dirty water.

For those who raise $150.00 and over, you will receive our thanks with a commemorative water bottle from Fill it Forward. Every bottle ships with a matching Fill it Forward sticker that allows you to connect to the Fill it Forward app , that lets you keep giving every time you fill your bottle.

Any questions? Feel free to contact us directly by emailing our Operations Coordinator at elapalme@wateraidcanada.com.
