Marie Curie Fundraising Group Tain & Dornoch are a local community group dedicated to raising money and awareness of Marie Curie
The Tain & Dornoch Fundraising Group was formed in 2013 and has since gone on to raise over £80,000. As a group, our main aims are to raise funds and awareness for the charity in our local community. We are always thinking of new ideas and challenges and we desperately need your support to help us through these difficult times. Fundraising has become increasingly difficult since March 2020, and this is of course at a time when our Marie Curie services are in the greatest demand. We need your help so that we can continue to help patients and their families needing Marie Curie nursing care and support, now more than ever.
Please join our team of merry fundraisers and have a look at our many fundraising ideas on www.mariecurie.org.uk/get-involved . Please use the start fundraising button on this page, log in to justgiving and then chose taking part in an event which will then lead you to all our activities, so your efforts & story are shared on this campaign page. Or if youd prefer to donate direct, please use the donate button.
What I love most about being part of this Marie Curie Fundraising Group is that we all have something in common with each other. We are all very keen to make a difference to those less fortunate and we all definitely enjoy the buzz of fundraising and also offer each other support, comfort and long lasting friendships. We all feel very proud to support such an amazing charity and to have made such a difference through our fundraising is beyond rewarding.

Since 2011, Marie Curie has set up Fundraising Groups across the UK to help raise money and awareness for the charity in their local area. They are a vital part of the Marie Curie family, raising a fantastic amount each year to help ensure we can keep supporting people living with a terminal illness and their loved ones. This is through our wide range of services including hospices, nursing, Information and Support services and research.
