Become a Wildlife Hero - for the Cause of Critters!

Missouri Conservation Heritage Foundation (MCHF) invites kids to collect coins or raise money other ways to make a difference helping wild animals in Missouri. Each year MCHF's Wildlife Heroes - Coins for Critters focuses on an endangered species and asks kids to get involved. This year we're focusing on the monarch butterfly!

An epic journey-maker, many of our Missouri monarchs migrate over 2000 miles one way in the fall to Central Mexican forests. This migration of millions of butterflies is one of the greatest natural events on Earth. However, due to loss of habitat in breeding and wintering grounds as well as stopover areas along their migration path, populations of this flying gem have been declining. Monarchs need our help!
