Friends of Burford, on behalf of Burford School, are delighted to announce Marlow Bottoms Annual Scarecrow Festival is back again this year.
We are again challenging the residents and businesses of Marlow Bottom to come up with their funniest and most creative scarecrows using everyday items you already have available. Your scarecrow can be any shape or size as long as it is not offensive or particularly gruesome and can be visibly displayed at the front of your own property from the start of the trail on Sunday 23rd October to the end on Saturday 29th October.
Scarecrow entries can be submitted any time between now and the 10th October. All entries submitted by this closing date will be included on the official scarecrow trail map, copies of which will be made available by email or from Tin Tow Coffee, The Barn Club and Da Luca at a cost of £2 per map.
To enter your scarecrow please send an email with your name and address to scarecrow@friendsofburford.org.uk.
We are inviting all of those who are participation by displaying a scarecrow to donate towards our charity for Burford School. Friends of Burford will donate 100% of the funds raised to the school to be put towards funding school projects and school improvements.
All of Marlow Bottoms residents will be able to enjoy the festival by following the trail around the village. To receive a copy of the trail map via email please pay £2 via Just giving and the map will be included as a link in the emailed Just Giving receipt (you get a few emails from them so please be patient).
We appreciate any support that you can give. Thank you!
