Story
Thank you for visiting our Just Giving page.
Enthusiasm is a Derby charity which has helped more than 10,000 deprived and disadvantaged children achieve a better life over the last 30 years. Based in Cotton Lane, the organisation reaches out to young people providing clubs, workshops, school holiday activities, homework support and one-to-one mentoring programmes.
To support this work a group of four individuals will be pounding the pavements and taking on the London Marathon, which is being held in October this year. Damon Freeston, Alex Grogan, Melanie Bridgen and her daughter Georgia Bridgen will be taking on the 26.2 mile route to raise money for Enthusiasm.
The coveted places in the marathon have been provided by Derby-based sportswear company HUUB, whose founder Dean Jackson is a trustee of our charity.
In order to continue Enthusiasms amazing work, the charity needs your help. Every penny you pledge will be spent supporting young people in the city who have challenging, complex and complicated lives, showing them that there is a different path and creating opportunities for them to grow and flourish.
Please donate if you can. Every penny helps us to make a positive change to a young persons life.
