During May - the month of Eurovision - Local Solutions staff will be taking part in a health and wellbeing activity to raise funds for Asylum Link who support asylum seekers and refugees living in Liverpool. Staff will be raising money and virtually walking to Kyiv, Ukraine.

Its been a tough year for refugees, seldom out of the headlines, and usually for the wrong reasons. Local Solutions will be hoping to raise money to support Asylum Link them in their continued efforts.

Our walk will start on Monday 1st May and will end on Friday 26th May with a walk from Local Solutions, Vortex to Liverpool Watersports Centre. We will be welcomed at the centre by the wonderful refugee choir and will hand over our cheque to the Asylum Link team.

The walk to Kyiv is 1,592 miles. A bit of maths has shown that our staff will be walking 8000-9000 steps a day - this will get us to Kyiv and back again.
