Story
Albert Einstein once said, "The only thing that you absolutely have to know is the location of the library." And at the Pikes Peak Library District Foundation, we have to agree.
While he was likely referring to a library's physical location at the time, it's amazing that now, our public libraries are truly everywhere.
That's because this past year, the Pikes Peak Library District (PPLD) adapted to the times and expanded robust virtual programs, began curbside pickup services, and so much more. And thats thanks to the generosity of neighbors like you who support the PPLD Foundation, the fundraising arm of the library.
April 7 is the third annual National Library Giving Day. On that date, everyone across the country will come together in an incredible movement to strengthen and support the local libraries that have worked harder than ever to keep learning going this past year.
Now through Library Giving Day, all gifts to support PPLD will be MATCHED dollar-for-dollar, up to $10,000 by generous donors. Last year, you helped us raise more than $15,000 in support of Library Giving Day. Will you help us reach this year's goal of $25,000?
