Visit the charity's profileThis unit has existed since 1933, and was located next to the Royal Armouries in Leeds City centre.
In 2006 the unit moved to its current location near Thwaite Mills, and this is where we are today.
Our unit building is of a plywood portacabin construction, and as we purchased this as a used item it is now starting to show its age.
Since this unit opened many thousands of young adults have walked through our doors and left many years later having gained the experiences and skills to assist them in the transition into adult hood.
We are very proud and passionate about what we do here, however as a charity we struggle to find the funds at times to keep the unit maintained.
Your generosity will enable us to maintain and to save towards a new replacement unit, and enable us to continue channelling what precious financial resources we have towards providing an amazing cadet experience.
