Organised by Latch LtdLatch renovates derelict houses to create homes for homeless people in Leeds. As the energy crisis and fuel bills rise they are rising for our tenants too. We are raising funds for warmer duvets, hot water bottles and emergency fuel vouchers.

Visit the charity's profileLatch stands for Leeds Action to Create Homes. Were a unique charitable organisation that refurbishes derelict and run-down houses in the Chapeltown, Harehills and Burley areas of Leeds.
When theyre fully modernised and furnished, our properties provide supported housing for people who are homeless or in housing need and are ready to make a positive change in their lives.
Most of the renovation work is done by Latch staff and volunteers. Some have building trade experience already, while others learn new skills as they work on site.
We dont just create houses but somewhere you can really call home.
As costs rise we want to be able to support our tenants in keeping warm this winter by providing items such as warmer duvets, electric blankets, gloves or emergency fuel vouchers when they come to us in need. We already provide a weekly foodbank and these items will be provided along with the food parcels.
