Story
Kazzum Arts supports children and young people who have been impacted by trauma at times in their lives when they are most vulnerable. We provide spaces for community, creativity and playfulness.
Christmas, New Year's and into January can be a particularly tough time in the year for those that we work with. Some of the children and young people that we support may be separated from their families, others may be stuck in a hospital ward or unable to access normal mental health services that are reduced over the Christmas period.
Your donation will help fund our creative workshops in the year ahead and deliver impactful interventions that will make a difference in the lives of children and young people for many years to come.
What could your donation help fund for the children and young people that we support?
- Pens, pencils, paper, clay, fabric etc. for a wellbeing workshop with children and young people experiencing adverse circumstances
- A fun and inclusive afrobeats dance class for children in an SEMH school
- A series of art sessions with children on a hospital ward culminating in a transformed space
- A day trip for young migrants and refugees to boost mental health and reduce loneliness and isolation
- A year of art workshops with a group of children and young people who are impacted by trauma and adversity
Even a small amount may make a large difference in the lives of children and young people experiencing a tough Christmas season. We are so grateful to anyone able to give to our organisation and we offer heartfelt thanks from everyone in the team.
