On Sunday 8th March, a team of parents, staff, pupils and their friends and family will be taking part in the Mercer Surrey Half Marathon to raise money for Knaphill Schools PTA.

Last year, our team of runners raised over £3,000 to purchase defibrillators for our schools. (The photo above shows some of our team from 2019). This year, we are raising money to help fund First Aid training for our pupils.

First Aid is being added the school curriculum in 2020, but this requires additional equipment and resources. We hope this money will enable the schools to purchase additional resources, additional hours of training for pupils and staff and, if we can raise enough, information and training for parents. First Aid is such an important life skill and we want our children to receive the very best support and training as they learn about this.
