Story
****Thanks so much to everyone who has donated to Julia's challenge! She has now completed over 60 miles walking along the Shropshire Way and Oswald's Trail in Oswestry! You can see her adventures via her blog at - https://shropshireway2022.blogspot.com/
2022 is a big year for Community Resource. The charity has just undergone a complete rebrand, is growing its team with new projects while continuing its key work helping people and communities facing challenges.
Another huge change is also taking place this year, with longstanding CEO Julia Baron retiring more than 22 years at the organisation.
This May Julia is spending six days walking over 60 miles along parts of the Shropshire Way, visiting organisations and services that have been supported by Community Resource during her tenure. The walk will highlight the support we have given across the County, celebrate Julia's legacy and raise awareness of our continuing work.
By sponsoring Julia's challenge you'll be helping to ensure that the legacy continues.
Julia will be stopping off at places including Bayston Hill Memorial Hall, the Lyneal Trust near Ellesmere and Bishops Castle Foodbank, and will be joined on the route by local people who have been helped by or worked with the charity.
