Jibin Benoy, 29, was an international student from India who had recently graduated from the Practical Elements of Mechanical Engineering (PEM) program and was a current student studying Operations Management (OPM) at Fanshawe College.
Benoy was killed in a hit-and-run incident in London's east end on Sept. 18. As a way to honour his memory for his family, Fanshawe College has established a student memorial award in his name.
This student award will be granted annually to a current OPM/PEM student that demonstrates community service, which Jibin Benoy exemplified.
We aim to raise enough funds to continue this award annually. Please consider donating to the Jibin Benoy Student Memorial Award Fund. A special thank you to ASCM London & District Chapter for their $1000 donation to help get us above and beyond our goal.
