Icon Landscaping has designed and secured a staff garden project at Royal Cornwall Hospital, Treliske and Managing Director Scott Murray is appealing to the public to help take the garden to the next level to give the maximum benefit to NHS workers at the hospital,
Having had to make some recent trips to the hospital with my wife means this project is very close to my heart and I want to give it my all. Our vision is to create a garden, where staff are able to sit down and relax whilst being both social or socially distanced. I want it to be a garden that you can walk around, taking different routes and seeing something new at every turn, before finding a spot to sit and enjoy the garden, says Scott.
The garden has been designed as place where staff can relax while breathing deeply of restorative Cornish air: The end result will be an area the staff can enjoy and switch off from there stressful environment, somewhere they look forward to going and spending time. We are both proud and honoured to be able to deliver this for such deserving people, concludes Scott.
A grant awarded from NHS Charities Together, will fund the base garden provision, we want to do our very best for our NHS staff. As a charity funded project, money continues to be raised to enable more established planting with donations, both monetary and 'in kind' welcomed.
