Story
HvH Arts are honoured to be supported by Helen's nephew Tom Yaxley and the Ride4Hugo Sportive cycle, to raise funds to support our work providing free arts courses for young people in Camden.
Ride4Hugo is a family-friendly road cycling event taking place on 5th June 2022, starting at Henstridge Airfield in Dorset - more info at www.ride4hugo.com
Ride4Hugo is being organised in memory of Helen McCrory's nephew, Hugo Yaxley - one of life's positive people, who worked to educate others and dispel the stigma around mental health challenges - and in memory of HvH Arts' amazing Patron, Helen McCrory herself.
In November 2020, Hugo was involved in a serious road traffic accident in which he tragically lost his life at age 20. Just five months after, his aunt, Helen McCrory OBE, also tragically passed away after losing her battle with breast cancer. Hugo's brother, Tom Yaxley, decided to set up Ride4Hugo to honour their lives and memories.
We'd love you to find out more and sign up to cycle the event at www.ride4hugo.com. Then create your own fundraising page via the link above to raise sponsorship for HvH Arts, or donate what you can to this JustGiving page.
Thank you so much, and whichever of the three Ride4Hugo distances you choose, we wish you a brilliant and rewarding day of cycling in the beautiful Dorset and Somerset countryside!
