The Purple Boot Campaign is an important source of income for our organization. These fabulous purple boots can be seen at local businesses and organizations raising not only funds but also awareness for Hospice Huntsville. Last year we raised over $5,800 in support of our operational costs of Hospice Huntsville/Algonquin Grace Residential Hospice. As COVID-19 continues to impact our communities we are again launching the Virtual Purple Boot Campaign, effective April 7th, in association with World Health Day.

Hospice Huntsville provides compassionate end-of-life care to clients and their families in the setting of their choice. All services are offered free of charge. Annually, Hospice Huntsville must raise 60% (that is $1,800/day) of its operating budget. Every donation we receive can continue to make a huge difference.

Currently, the pandemic has impacted the manner in which Hospice Huntsville connects to its clients, particularly those requiring Visiting Volunteers and Grief and Bereavement Support. Your support allows us to adapt our programs to meet the needs of the community in a safe, respectful manner.

You can also support our efforts to raise funds using the Tell a Friend system - Reach out to your friends and family no matter where they are. The further the reach, the more opportunity for success which means the more we can assist others.
