Story

At Brainwave, we help children with disabilities reach their potential by providing a Therapy Programme of exercises and activities that can be continued at home by parents/carers.

Our qualified therapists tailor the Therapy Programme to suit each individual child and their family's need. The therapy exercises and activities are essential in helping children progress and achieve greater independence.

Alexandra is sixteen years old and has been following a Brainwave Therapy Programme since 2009:

Brainwave has helped me say my first word and make me feel more relaxed physically and mentally, so I fear the outside world less. I have so many appreciations, I dont know which one to start with! Brainwave may not cure autism, but it helps me feel and be part of this world. My dream is to be a music editor. Brainwave allowed me to relax and sit still so I can study and do well in exams/tests. They taught me exercises to help calm parts of my body to help cope with the busy outside world. Then I started to learn. The staff appreciate me and understand my autism/problems.
