Story
My name is Andrew Topping and I am one of the HEMS Doctors with the Air Ambulance NI. I have challenged myself to run 2 Marathons in 1 Week - The London Marathon on Sunday 23rd April and the Mash Direct Belfast City Marathon on Sunday 30th April.
You can support my challenge by donating here, or by setting your own goal on Sunday 30th April by taking part in Mash Directs Belfast City Marathon, Team Relay or 8 mile walk to help AANI save lives, limbs and brains.
I have seen first-hand in my role how beneficial the Air Ambulance is at providing advanced pre-hospital medical and surgical interventions to the most critically ill people of Northern Ireland, including advanced pain relief, airway management and administration of blood. I know any money raised will make a huge difference.
Air Ambulance NI, in partnership with the Northern Ireland Ambulance Service (NIAS), provides the Helicopter Emergency Medical Service (HEMS) for the region and responds to seriously ill or injured patients, 12 hours a day, 7 days per week.
AANI is a vital service for Northern Ireland, our helicopter can get to any location in Northern Ireland in approximately 25 minutes. The doctor and paramedic team bring pre hospital emergency care across Northern Ireland that might just save your life, or that of your loved ones.
We are very grateful for your support. Your contribution, no matter how big or small, will make a valuable difference to our vital life saving service.
