About Kandersteg
Kandersteg International Scout Centre (KISC) in Switzerland is a World Scout Centre of the World Organization of the Scout Movement (WOSM). Over 3,000 UK Scouts visit Kandersteg each year, seeking high adventure, international friendship, eco adventure and an opportunity to live Scouting's values.
This will be the scout groups third trip to the International Scout Centre
Opened in 1923, following a search by Baden-Powell for a site for a 'permanent mini-Jamboree', KISC combines a campsite and indoor accommodation with programme support and an international staff team comprised of volunteers. Any member of The Scout Association aged 18 or over interested in volunteering for a minimum of three months can find details by clicking here.
