Graham McKenna World Record Attempt

To help support CALM I have decided to break the Guinness World Record for the most distance travelled on a treadmill in a week. The record currently sits at 838 km (or 20 marathons) I plan on completing 21!

We’re Campaign Against Living Miserably (CALM), and we’re a suicide prevention charity. We host a helpline for people affected by suicide, as well as vital online resources for anyone who needs them.

Story

After seeking help when I was too stubborn to see it was needed (I'm a grown man right?) I've made it my mission to raise awareness of the charities that are there to help. It doesn't matter how tough you are, how strong you are or how macho you are, sometimes we all need a little space, a point in the right direction or just a place to unload.

The statistics on suicide are truly shocking and male suicide even more so. It's the number one killer of men under the age of 45 in the UK.

So to help raise awareness and money towards CALM and mental health in general I have decided to break the Guinness World Record for the most distance travelled on a treadmill in a week. The record currently sits at 838 km (or 20 marathons) I plan on completing 21!

If, through supporting CALM, I can help even one person to pause and seek help then all the training, effort and pain will have been worth it.
