Story
Young people are thirsting for meaning in their lives.
Children are abandoned.
Families need pastoral care and social assistance.
The borders are closed...
BUT our hearts are open - let's show our friends in ROMANIA that we want to GO by GIVING support to their worthy projects!
When you give to this cause, you are going to Romania with your generosity and love of your brothers and sisters in Christ. Let's continue the tradition of bringing our goodwill to our friends in Romania by supporting their work!
In Baia Mare, at the SACRO CUORE foundation, Claudia and Sr. Rosalba are building a Youth Center for holding retreats and year-round evangelization. Claudia writes,
"I understand more and more, especially with this pandemic experience, that the teenagers and young adults are so hungry for good experiences and they are searching for meaning for their lives."
In Turt, Father Remus has begun building a home for children. His desire is to offer a home to the abandoned, abused and orphan children and to prevent the social exclusion of poor children through catechesis and educational and social programs. This fund is to help complete the second floor of the Children's House.
In Cluj, Fr. Calin and his team established the Love and Truth Center as a spiritual oasis in the heart of the city, a place of charity and education, and especially a school of Christian love. The center provides many ministries for families including marriage preparation, marriage counseling, Catechesis of the Good Shepherd, youth ministry, and prayer.
So many of us have been to these places on mission trips and experienced life-changing moments of grace as we received the incomparable Romanian hospitality and witnessed the utter dedication of Claudia, Fr. Remus, Fr. Calin - let's show them our love now by supporting their worthy projects!
Donations are tax-deductible in the U.S.!
This LCI initiative is to support these projects, and all donated funds will be sent to Romania.
"Truly I tell you, just as you did it to one of the least of these who are members of my family, you did it to me." (Matt. 25:40)
