Story

Hello! My name is Glenda Young and I'm an Author, published by Headline. I'm partnering with my favourite charity Dog A.I.D. in order to raise the profile and support this amazing Assistance Dog Charity and the work they do.

You could have the exciting experience of having a character in my book named after you, all you have to do is donate as generously as you are able to, to Dog A.I.D. and your name will be placed into a draw and one name will be pulled out at random to win. The deadline is September 30th 2021.

The winner will then be contacted and asked to sign a waiver.

Its as easy as that! All money raised from donations through this page will go directly to Dog A.I.D.

Why am I partnering with Dog A.I.D. to help them raise awareness and vital funds? Well, Dog A.I.D. solely relies on donations in order to carry out their work. I've seen first hand the positive impact that Dog A.I.D. can have on a disabled person's life and I want to support the charity so that so many more disabled people can benefit.

My good friend Lynn, who I have grown up with and have known all my life, is a volunteer trainer with the charity after going through the training program as a client. I've seen first hand the way Lynn's assistance dog helps her with everyday tasks and struggles, such as opening doors for her, even when it comes to supporting with the laundry, her dog also alert's her when she needs to take medication, potentially saving her life.

If you would like to know more about Dog A.I.D. please visit the website - https://dogaid.org.uk/ and if you would like to know more about me, my website is http://glendayoungbooks.com

With my utmost thanks and good luck!

Glenda Young
