Give Up To Give Back

Dry January, Lent or Stoptober. It's up to you what, how and when you decide to give up to give back for the Hospice. You can then donate the money you have saved or raised by giving up that item or habit back to the Hospice.
Dry January, Lent or Stoptober. It's up to you what, how and when you decide to give up to give back for the Hospice. You can then donate the money you have saved or raised by giving up that item or habit back to the Hospice.
If physically demanding challenges are not for you or you do not have a head for heights, you can support us instead by taking part in our Give up to Give Back campaign.
If you are considering going Dry in January or giving up sweets for Lent, this event is for you. This challenge is open all year round and it is up to you when you start it, what you give up and for how long.
You can then donate the money you have saved by giving up that item or habit back to the Hospice. For those really stretching their will-power, dont forget your friends and family could support you by sponsoring your efforts. Their encouragement really can help you reach that target and make sure you keep away from temptation!
For example, you may want to give up that daily bar of chocolate for Lent that would raise a fantastic £24 or perhaps you may go on a health kick and give up your favourite commuter caffeine drink in May and raise an amazing £68! Giving up coffee could pay for one hour of specialist bereavement support to families or friends to help them through the toughest of times.
What you choose to give up and for however long is up to you, but the donation that you make by giving up to give back really will make all the difference to our patients and their families. Thank you for your support.
