Christmas Appeal 2022 ~ Gifts of Hope
With your help, over the past few Christmases we have been able to help orphans, vulnerable children and communities in Uganda, and this year we aim to do more of the same.
Story
Christmas this year will be different for everyone. In Uganda they celebrate Christmas with singing, dancing and eating. Christmas presents aren't given like they are in most Western countries. This year we are raising funds for:-
Food packages - 47 food packages for the community, families of resettled children, and families of staff who give their time each Christmas - 47 packages at £45 each = £2,115
Christmas Food - Food for the Christmas season's celebrations for the 55 children and staff at the Children's Home - 55 children and staff at £12 each - £660
School Uniforms for all the children for 2023, most of whom will be starting new schools - 57 at £30 each = £1,710
