This fund is to support student and faculty research in science and mathematics at GSC.  The money raised will help support student research by funding the purchase of needed supplies, contribute toward the purchase of equipment, and to help fund travel by students to meetings to present their research.  Participation in research as an undergraduate is not only an important part of a students education, but gives students necessary experience when applying for jobs, and to graduate and professional schools.
