Make a Difference to Families across the South
Thank you for considering supporting Gatwick Aviation Museum through charitable fundraising. As a small Charity, the donations made through our many fundraising projects is vital to our survival and directly contributes to the important work that we do.
You may be surprised to hear that Gatwick Aviation Museum receives no government funding and is an entirely self-supporting charitable organisation. The Charity only exists through the hard work and dedication of its volunteers and relies heavily on the financial support raised through our may fundraising projects.
Gatwick Aviation Museum provides families across the South, a gateway into the heritage of British aviation. We support young people in their future careers, and we provide a safe place for children to play, learn and develop. We are part of the community and are at the very heart of aviation history in the South of England. We matter and we need your help. Sam Aldridge, Museum Manager
By taking on this fundraising challenge, you are supporting Gatwick Aviation Museums future for generations to come. We are however more than just a museum. We work with a range of schools, colleges, and universities to provide' hands on' and theoretical experience to young people, who wish to join the industry that exists today.
We aim to inspire passion, learning and development in an enjoyable environment. We will provide a platform to gain crucial skills and experience through our collections, engineering projects, fundraising initiatives, educational events, and workshops.
It is our continued mission to create the most enjoyable and engaging Museum that we can. Our aim is to offer a relevant, unique, and memorable Museum experience where families and friends can come together. We want our visitors to explore, discover and learn through the varied collection of incredible aircraft and exhibits on display here.
There are many projects that need your support. From engineering restoration, education development programmes, to several new attractions at the Museum that will benefit families across the South of England. These plans include a brand-new aviation inspired play area and a scrumptious café and outdoor seating area for our visitors to enjoy.
All of this is simply not possible, without your help and support. Thank you
