Unfortunately, due to the Covid-19 virus our fundraising activities have been severely curtailed this year.

This year we are unable to offer a gift wrapping service in the Market Place. In addition to raising much needed funds, many people will miss the chance to meet old friends and have their gifts beautifully wrapped. We rely on our fundraising to help us provide refuge and assistance to support people who are or have been suffering from the effects of domestic abuse.

Together with the fantastic Asda Community Champions, Carolina, Christine and Lorraine, former Mayor Hilary Fairclough and two Fortalice staff members, we have been busy creating beautiful Christmas bows. These are versatile decorations for you to place in a prominent place such as a front door, Christmas tree, fireplace or in your window. The floristry ribbon bows are just £5 each and we also have a limited number of organza ribbon bows priced at £10 each, every penny raised goes to Fortalice. Please scroll through the gallery to see examples of the bows, please note we will do our best to provide you with your preference but this can't be guaranteed.

Pressure on our service has grown as lockdown has continued. We are maintaining support whilst experiencing a drop in both donations and gifts in kind. Both make a real difference to the service we can provide now, and in the future.
